GENERAL MANAGEMENT

STAF can manage your year-round administrative affairs, working with you and your board of directors to ensure each season is financially and artistically successful. In essence, we become your staff and home base for a flat monthly fee. This includes:

• All administrative, financial, and marketing services provided year-round, as needed
• Local, national or international tour support
• Use of STAF’s office as your mailing address
• Use of boardroom, office equipment
• Regular planning meetings with artistic director and board of directors
• Attendance at third-party meetings (such as presenters) as needed

MARKETING & PUBLICITY

We collaborate with you to develop a marketing strategy for your Production, Tour or Event that is geared toward your target audience. STAF’s Marketing & Publicity Manager then implements the marketing plan using the following tools:

• print and on-line postings
• e-marketing to both your own and STAF’s mailing lists
• press relations, press kits
• media sponsorships and paid print / TV / radio / online ads
• postcard swaps and ticket giveaways
• group sales, program ad sales
• postcard and poster distribution
• box office liaison
• opening night support
• Use of STAF’s merchant visa for sales

FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION

Need help with your contracts, budgets, and government reports? STAF has a full range of financial administration services to meet your needs:

• Full cycle bookkeeping
• Preparation of financial statements
• Annual, project or tour budgets
• Audit preparation
• Payroll, T4's
• GST returns, annual charitable return
• Incorporation / charitable application
• Equity / union artist agreements.

GRANT WRITING

The grant writing process is overwhelming and intimidating to most but we’ve been at it for years! In partnership with you, STAF will write grant applications to all major government funding bodies, as well as foundations and private corporations. If all you require is a professional grant review before you submit, we can do that too!
